Saturn Sales & Services Ltd. offer a variety of solutions for both the Main Entrance and the Internal Secured Environment. We provide a full Design, Installation, Commission and Maintenance Service.
For our Door Entry Systems, we generally use the Videx range, who specialise in both Audio and Video panels, often combining a method of entry, usually keypad within the panel. This can be interfaced with an existing telephone system or cascaded to a NurseCall or similar BMS system.
Modular, Vandal Resistant and Digital are frequently adopted to give the most cost effective but suitable solution.
Paxton is our preferred choice for proximity control, for simplicity and reliability. Switch 2 offers a simple standalone solution but if a more complex fully recordable record is required, then the PC Based Net2 solution gives the answer.
We try to fit most budgets, and often tailor our solution to address our individual customer needs, and by combining suppliers such as Paxton, PAC, CDV, ACT and Bewator, we generally find this broad range normally covers the majority of control systems.
The ACT 10 digital keypad is a sturdy and durable unit made from vandal resistant die cast zinc with backlit stainless steel keys. This multi-purpose keypad caters for access control, door monitoring and interlock applications.
The ACT 5e digital keypad is a simple to use and easy to install standalone access control product. Keypad backlighting enhances functionality at night or in poor light conditions. Each unit is contained in a stylish polycarbonate housing, with stainless steel keys and potted electronics, allowing for indoor and outdoor installation. The ACT 5 may be surface or flush mounted on to a standard single gang electrical back box.
Please Note these have been superseded to Vanderbilt V42.
The Bewator K42 is now part of Siemans, the K42 is a compact keypad entry system that can have up to 2 x 4 digit codes and is designed for single door entry use. The manufacture states that the K42 can be used for internal or external use, this model does have an IP67 rating, although we would recommend this to be used on internal doors only. Separate covers can be available upon request...
The case itself is designed to be easily and quickly mounted onto a wall or door frame and is made from solid stainless steel. The keys are backlit which aid code entry during low light hours or situations, they are also vandal resistant with their stainless steel design.
